Subwoofer under top stack...

I tried this in the Audio section and got no response thought I would try overherar, Thanks for any help.. Has anyone put a small/thin sub under the top stack so when it lowers it sets on the sub woofer? It looks to be several inches there and I was thinking of maybe a powered JLAudio 8 or 10 inch box under the top stack. They are thin and sound is very good. Also will the sound vent to the front. I'm looking to hear my bass not just thumping down the road like I have a flat tire....

Thanks for any input...

JL Audio makes a box specific for the verts and other applications. I know they have them for the Gen 5, but I am not sure if they have released anything for Gen 6 yet.

I have a JL Audio MicroSub 10" that has been solid. Top doesn't even touch it when it goes down. Pics here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=508932

Hi aland12345, yes you can, as I built my own customer sub with 2-12 subs no powered. So on the Gen6 2017 convertible you have about 8.5" to 9.5 inches in height, and about 29" wide and about 16" deep. So your 2016 convertible should be close to that. So get the largest box that will fit those specs and you will still have the trunk area also.
