I have a squeak/rattle/chirp on both sides. Sounds like it's coming from where the convertible top retractable covers are on both sides. Any thoughts as to what this could be from?

Also, I get a creaking noise from the left side driver near the top where the convertible top meets the top. I know it's coming from the top because if I pull down slightly on the top from inside the car, it goes away. Is there anyway to tighten or loosen how much/hard the top latches/travels -if that makes sense.

Bumping this in the hopes someone has had the same issues and has some ideas.

I have owned numerous verts, Mustangs, Corvettes, BMW’s, Jeeps...with the top up, this car has ridiculous creeks, pops, and just noises everywhere.

Today was the first time I drove with the top up and radio off to listen...unbelievably bad. There are some noises which sound like they are coming from back passenger side, behind the seat...as if something inside the back seats are just squeaking...

Still love the car and I can’t imagine driving it with the top up, but got caught in rain today, so no choice.

I experience noise when my top is up. It appears to be from where it meets the windshield. Plastic creeking noise, very annoying! Any solutions?

Assuming it's the rubber, not the latch hardware, you could try a good teflon spray:

or Krytox:

Just so no one reading this thread gets the impression that noise is a huge problem with every convertible, it's pretty improbable that I'm the only one with a car with no noises. Anyone else?

Well this is interesting, I am THIS close to pulling the trigger on a 2017 1LT, I have driven it twice now and to be honest it was just fine for me, top and and top down, however I have never owned a convertible before, so this thread does concern me just a little bit lol. What is this ‘wind noise’ fix that has been mentioned here a few times....?

What would I be lubricating? The noise is loudest at low speeds on local roads.

I've had mine almost 3 years now - it's really pretty quiet and solid for a convertible. the chassis is very stiff. Mine doesn't make many noises at all - there are a few creaks and groans every once in a while with the top up and you can hear more outside noise especially towards the back than you can in a coupe. With the top down - which for me is 90% of the time I drive this car - it's really really good. Very bolted down chassis, it's hard to tell it's even a convertible!

Traded my 2013 Vert in for back end noises too, 2 dealers found nothing, Convertible Topp Shop couldn't either within a week, 2018 HARDTOP. (I'd hope that GM could figure out a nice trouble free top. Guess Corvette manual top is the best way to go.)
