837 HP on stock LT4 fuel and 100 octane
This was a while ago:
https://www.horsepowerwars.com/horse...-11-with-1500/ But now Vengence has backed up the claim, with 958 HP. https://watch.horsepowerwars.com/m/i...?list=tOsDfs5c

I saw that Pony war episode and thought it was pretty cool. It's crazy to me how much money you can spend on a $40-45k car for performance goodies.

Yea seen that...Its because the high octane fuel that frees up a ton of fuel system headroom. The caveat is 7.00+ a gallon.

what I don't understand is there is (assume here) not that much more energy in a gallon of 100 octane fuel, so yeah you can run more advance (not as much as E85), but that is 957 HP on the LT4 fuel system.... the supercharger is probably consuming at least 50 so the engine is making more than 1200 flywheel HP before loss, how is it possible?

I think if I'd had a good low side like a DSX I could have made over 900 rwhp but don't think it could get to 950. I know I didn't have fuel system to run E but the Vp MS109 is pretty stout and spraying the Meth water really helped also. I think Jason Lieva made 980 on the Lt4 fuel system when he went to the 2650 and that was a Vengeance build.

I believe Ted Jenetty mentioned a few times in the past that the full LT4 fuel system can support like 850whp + with race fuels on his dyno. I know that isn't 950whp but I don't put a lot of stock in dyno numbers. Maybe it had something to do with the elevation and correction factor because the car didn't seem to run as the power suggested.

We've had several cars in the 900s with the stock fuel system and 100 octane. Very doable.
