I dropped my Flashlight

Tonight when checking my oil I layed my pocket FL on the hood latch panel, it was dark and didn't realize how big the latch hole was a the FL went down the hole. The front bottom portion is closed off so it didn't fall to the ground. The only way without taking something apart is try grabbing with a extension hand grabber. I'll have to buy one unless...there is a simple way to remove something to get to it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If it’s laying at the bottom you should be able to remove the bolts at the bottom and use a clothes hanger to fish it back toward the opening so you can get your fingers on it.

If the flashlights metal just use one of those magnets on a pole. Or if you don't have one of those you can always tie a magnet on to a string drop it in and pull it out.

Just make sure you tie it off extremely well as the magnet will try to stick to anything metal in the car and it will need to be tied on strong enough to withstand its Force being pulled away

Did something similar, that bottom plastic under carriage things needs to come off. It's like 4 7 or 10 mm and like 8 5 or 7 mm bolts. It's pretty easy to remove. Magnet works good if you can see it.

I dropped my T50 nut during the installation of the CC.
Just drive a few Meter than brake. After that you can use the magnet version. Works good.

I dropped the plastic cover for the headlight bulbs down there. I lightly tapped the plastic in the bottom from under the car in order to move it around and was able to then reach down and grab it. I don't know if that helps at all.

A stick/hanger + tape might work too
