12v accessory in trunk?

So I have a 2017 SS 1LE. I spent the last 2 days installing the JL Audio Stealthbox in my car. I am using a Kicker CX300.1 amp with the power and ground going over to the area by the battery (ground to a ground post, 12v going to the 100A terminal on the battery power block).

I am using the high level input option and ran the wires from the passenger front speaker back to the rear and into the high level input. For some reason the voltage increase is not enough to trigger the high level turn on for the amp. So I went into the trunk fuse block to find a 12v switched fuse. I found one and used it, but was greeted with an almost dead battery this morning.

What 12v switched fuse spot is everyone using for a trigger in the trunk? I need one that is known to work and wont keep a sub-circuit on that can drain the batter. I only found 4 12v switched circuits in the rear fuse panel, they were in the middle section of the fuse panel on the right side of the 3 rows. I tried the wireless charging fuse, but I don't have wireless charging in my car so that fuse location didn't power up.

Anyone know of a spot that is 12v switched that comes on with only the radio button coming on or when the car is turned on and running?

Thanks in advance... Todd

Well I figured it out yesterday. I used the wireless charging fuse spot. I guess the pin on the top of the fuse has some plastic over it which is why my probe didn't show any voltage.

Swapped my amp trigger over to that and now we are cooking. I have sub anytime the radio is on now, and no more voltage drain that kills the battery. After sitting all night I was at 12.70v this morning and my truck used as a comparison was at 12.60v.

Super happy now, finally have some rear fill with some nice bass. The 1LE SS radio sounds pretty decent to me, just needed some punch from the rear. The wife was less than impressed though, but she doesn't drive the car so that is a moot point.

I was looking to do the same. Need more thump. The jl is definitly a nice option. I like how it almost didnt affect your trunk space at all. One question though if you dont mind me asking....how much was the stealthbox?

I've been considering this purchase but can't figure out how the box is worth even half that price. I have a 2SS with Bose so I'm not too concerned with upgrading, but it would be nice to have that low end punch.

I am with ya, the I cant see the cost for the box either. It is maybe a $500-$600 setup for sure.

I had to pay to play, the 1ss 1LE sound system is really lacking, has plenty of mids and highs, it just needed some low end punch to finish it out.

I'm late to the thread but what I did was tap the power and ground from the factory amp to my lc7i to then power my amps on. Nice setup! I like how clean it looks

Yeah since I have a 1LE we don't have a factory amp to tap off of, had I it would have made this whole install a lot easier.

Pics aren't working. Did you get the TW3 or the W6? Debating between this or the High Output Ported Wedge Box facing rearward.

get the W6, clean accurate bass. Can give deep bass with a larger box. But great for audiophiles or bass heads

Nice install. Curious if you're experiencing any issues with the door chimes using the LOC?
I was planning to use the Lc8i but heard people had sever issues with door chime loudness and other sounds...
