My first car (around 1979) was a Ford Pinto. I used to blow the doors off of Camaro's in it. Seriously. It could easily take a stock V8 Camaro back in the day. (Yes, I was modified!)

Again you might be but doesn't defeat the fact that if the dealership you bought your car from want to keep you happy they will do their best to. I've heard of many clutches going out from racing and they still covered it. Especially in z06's just wanted opinions but I'll keep you guys updated if the do replace my clutch for free and if they do I'll post a pic

Well, there's always warranty fraud. Going on public forums and admitting you torched the clutch isn't really the best idea. If they do decide to put in a fraudulent claim to make you happy, you're putting them at risk.

The only part that GM has no control over is the person behind the wheel.. If you do not know what you are doing, then DON'T TRY TO DO IT!!!!!

High rev + slow clutch let out = burned out clutch.

It doesn't take much to comprehend this.

You might have taken your own advise and started here:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=317537

There are lots of threads about burnouts in the section devoted to drag racing techniques:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46

Could have saved you some money and frustration.

Man this guy is an idiot. Why the hell would you do anything that you have literally no idea how to do without researching? This is why we have the forum! Not to mention google. If you're about to do something that you may even think could damage your car if you execute improperly, wouldn't you want to research a bit more until you're confident so that you don't do exactly this? SMH man, come on.
