Blue velvet rare? - Page 4

When I mine I tested Garnet red since I had two Red Jewel Tintcoats prior but I had tired of red and didn’t care for the other colors until I saw the BVM. Only 2 on the lot and the other a V6 with a couple wanting to tests drive the 2SS I had the fob to in my hand. Felt good to tell them I was buying it so no driving it. I’ve only seen one other in the Indy area and that was last year at IMS Cars and Coffee.

Went to a local Camaros and Coffee here in Nor Cal, nearly 300 Camaros, and I was the only BVM there in all trim levels. Kinda cool having a unique color.

Not my first choice of color when I get it but I like a lot now.

By far the best looking 6th gen I`ve seen. must be because
we share a similar cooler. I like to see Blue Ray and Blue Velvet
side by side for comparison.

Just love the color and I get boocoo compliments on it. People at the track last weekend were asking my wife if it was the original color or if I had it painted.

If it’s a rare color it’s because no one wanted one that color. Which means you gonna lose big time trying to sell it.

I'm looking at the pictures you guys posted of your car's thinking wow that is a really nice color. And then I have a look at the hyper blue and realize that that's what's killed it. The hyper blue is just off the charts with how nice it is. I guess there could be only one and it was hyper blue

I've never seen that color on a 6th gen in person, but it is a pretty color especially in the sun. It's such a dark color, though, that it has to be as tough as black in trying to keep it clean. Everything will show up on that color. I had a black Z28 for 15 years, so I'm done with those dark colors.

Actually it’s the easiest to keep clean. I’ve only washed it twice since 2016 and it’s ceramic coated and maintenance has been a breeze.
