Has anyone had any luck getting a 50th portfolio / certificate sent to them as a second owner? I thought I was getting somewhere with GM chat, they were asking things like how many camaros I own (2 right now), how many have I ever owned (4 total back to an 82 back in 1992), then said they could not help any further because I was not the original buyer.

I would pay for it if I had to. I would love to have it. Anyone have any luck or am I just beat? Car was a repossession according to carfax so I would not want to have to track down the orig owner....

Thanks all
Hi nice ride you have. As far as i know and other here can confirm. Only the original owner/purchaser of the Camaro gets a portfolio mailed to them. Since it is a repo i am not sure how you would go about getting one unless GM wants to jump and help out. Keep your fingers crossed if you do find the original owner and he willing to sell it. Good luck to you. I always check Ebay, but i have yet to see anyone part with it. Take care.

Nice choice, I would add borla secondary cat delete and mid pipes. You won't be disappointed.

I have been working on upgrading my suspension from FE3 to FE4 as well as upgrading to ZL1 brakes.

Here is a list of everything I changed out:
Front
-sway bars
-front links
-strut mounts
-springs
-front knuckle and hub

Rear

-sway bar
-control arms
-trailing links
-rear knuckles and hub
-springs

MRC
-front MRC struts
-rear MRC shocks
-MRC controller (with a ZL1)
*I think the MRC shocks and struts are the same but my SS had different Part numbers than the ZL1 so I changed them out.

Brakes
-front & rear calipers, discs, backing plates, hoses

I wanted it to look as original as possible so I sent my calipers off to get powder coated. Kevin at TPH Coatings (on the forum) did a great job.

Looks amazing!

When will the swap be completed? You've just raised the performance of the car a lot with these changes Are the new knuckles required for the ZL1 calipers?

I hope to have everything swapped out and installed by the end of the week. I can't wait to drive it.
The new knuckles are not required (everything will fit) they just had a different part number between the FE3 and FE4. maybe the bushing material is different between the two. Most of the parts look the same between the FE3 and FE4 (some of the links had the same part numbers stamped in them and then the FE4 parts had a sticker with a different part number put on over where it was stamped.

I had something come in the mail today, almost a year later I bought the car.

Kind of a cool box, so I don't want to open it just yet.. Does anyone know what it is?

I am not sure what may be causing it transmission or maybe baffles in the mufflers or something binding clip has come undone.. Again a total mystery to me it drives fine no issues only occurs when i am slowing to come to a full stop. Any ideas Guys and Gals??? I know last year i was literally cut off by some wing nut making a turn in coming from the opposite direction and i had to lock up the breaks and pray. No accident, but that is the only event that comes to mind. Thanks for taking time to read my post.

Can’t say I know anything off the top of my head to cause it.

Have you done a driveability test with chassis ears at the dealership?
