If you look up the part, you will see what I'm talking about, there is a lip that protrudes out from the console that has to tuck under the rear seat. It's rounded on top but square on the bottom. Getting it out was easy for me, but getting it back in took some effort. Also I removed my console to change out the shifter knob & boot, you might be able to remove the rear piece without having to completely remove the console but I'm not certain on that as I don't remember how accessible it was to get to the points of attachment. The rear piece is attached to the console by (2) phillips head screws and some metal push clips plus the wire connector to the phone charger. You would access these from underneath the phone charger/storage bin. After removing the (2) screws, I just popped it off and installed the new storage bin.

Definitely appreciate all the details here. Like Heath, I would get way more use out of this versus the non-working charge pad. Thanks much!

What did you do to the seat belt ping? If I drive just 15m it starts ping ping ping
Was that all exhaust popping in the beginning?
Nice video.

Nice video.
The seat belt ding only lasts a couple minutes. Yes that's the exhaust popping, only does it during engine braking on after a cold start. My driveway is all down hill.

Thanks!

Heath

Hey everyone- for anyone wondering about rim upgrades I am really happy with how my MRR rims and Michelin Pilot Super Sports turned out. Black rims with black top turned out great IMO. Matt at Element Wheels is where I got the rims.

Hi Folks!

I have a question and maybe just maybe it may have happen to some of you knot. If not then you have no issue. I have had my Fifty for almost over a year now. Whenever i am driving it on the locals streets and slow down to come to a stop. I hear a popping or kind of a loud click sound. I am not sure what may be causing it transmission or maybe baffles in the mufflers or something binding clip has come undone.. Again a total mystery to me it drives fine no issues only occurs when i am slowing to come to a full stop. Any ideas Guys and Gals??? I know last year i was literally cut off by some wing nut making a turn in coming from the opposite direction and i had to lock up the breaks and pray. No accident, but that is the only event that comes to mind. Thanks for taking time to read my post.

Hey all. Picked up a used 2017 2SS H50, Sunroof, NPP, Magnetic Ride, this past Friday. 2400 miles on it Easily the nicest car I have ever owned.

Been reading a ton. No problems, no upgrades planned, just have one quick question right now.

Has anyone had any luck getting a 50th portfolio / certificate sent to them as a second owner? I thought I was getting somewhere with GM chat, they were asking things like how many camaros I own (2 right now), how many have I ever owned (4 total back to an 82 back in 1992), then said they could not help any further because I was not the original buyer.

I would pay for it if I had to. I would love to have it. Anyone have any luck or am I just beat? Car was a repossession according to carfax so I would not want to have to track down the orig owner....

Thanks all
