Got 3 blocks from the dealer before the fuze was pulled (Feb, '16). Never put it back in. About four months later, had the secondary cats removed. That's when it started to make some real nice sounds. Nothing too loud, just right. Not all shops will do do the delete based on the smog laws in your area so you may have to shop around a bit. Well worth it.

Yeah definitley i have no intentions of putting it back in! makes such a simple but huge difference. Thanks for the info on the cat removal... what is the difference when removing those?

Secondary cat delete increases volume and not much else. No noticeable increase in drone or HP. Be sure to save and mark cats (left/right, front facing/rear facing).

I pulled the fuse in 2016 after seeing a video about it. I love it, the npp takes away all the good low rpm sounds and downshifting and deceleration sounds. You can make a "mild to wild switch" for about $25 and control it when ever you want without having to go into the fuse box.

Yeah, I agree its so much better, not a huge difference but the difference when you drive is a game changer. I like how the exhaust is always "on" during highway driving or even town driving and you don't have to worry about the flaps closing.

That's a good idea, I like the flaps always open for now but in the future, if I ever get tired of it ill look into the switch

Gonna try to bring back this thread in hopes of more information on this "mild to wild" switch. Does anyone know how to go about making one of these? I know that RPI has one but idk if they require previously having the NPP. My car didn't come with NPP stock but I have the exhaust now, wondering if I can make a switch that'll work independently of the car.
