Changed the front brakes to powerstop Z23 because I couldn't stand all the stupid dust. 9 days of driving my wheels were blacker than a mineshaft at midnight. Front pads are all 4 exactly the same. Most websites have the pn for the front pads jacked up Z23-1474A is the right number, most are missing the A. That said I have no idea what the A is about, but its what powerstop said I needed.
Fronts

Rear

The back pads are lefts and rights for the outside. Inside pads are the same. Also there is nothing to pry of of in the rear, just push on the tabs the pin goes through with a big screw driver to compress the pistons.

I used them pretty hard for break in per the powerstop instructions. No noticeable dust even after that beating. Performance seems similar between the two, and in my opinion a little more predictable/linear as you apply the brakes.

I may do a write up but this was about the easiest pad change I have ever done. Best advice is to get a 3/32 nail set to knock the pins out (shown above) because the pins have a point on them. You'll want a short punch, or the short side of an allen wrench to knock the rear pins back in since they are recessed into the back side when fully installed. Its also a pain to try and swing a hammer in the rear because of the suspension arms. Pump the brakes a few times until the pedal firms up before you start it, and maybe a few after. Make sure it actually stops before you try to drive above parking lot speed.

If anybody is in love with the stock brembo's and wants a spare set with 400 miles on em . I will ship them usps flat rate for $20 paypal in the next two weeks, otherwise they are going in the trashcan.

Mr. Rager, thanks for posting this. I ordered a set from Jegs in anticipation of my car arriving (soon) and they listed the Z23-1474 for the fronts. I called and they say that is what their fitment chart says. I guess I'll call Powerstop on Monday and get the word from them. I can send them back as long as they haven't been installed.

Its listed on the powerstop website. Not sure of the difference but I will trust the manufacturer.

Looks like the shape of the Vibration damper is slightly different on the1474's.
Probably a Corvette Spec. As the Round dampers are only 1/4 taller than the pictured 1473A's there will likely not be a fitment issue as there is plenty of clearance with the 20" wheels. They may actually handle the (potential) sqealing better as they have more mass. All the other measurements, mount points etc. look correct. I'll get them on one of these days and let you all know.
