V6 Engine shudder / vibrate

Just picked up the car today and immediately notices the gear shifter shudders / vibrates when easing off the clutch and the engine rocks when revving firmly ... I feel the engine movement...

Is that normal? Never had a V6 before....

Granted I can't see your car at the moment for obvious reasons, but:

A little shake is normal - mechanical connection between shifter, transmission, and engine. Any movement in the engine is transmitted through the driveline and thus the shifter.

If you give it a shot of gas, it's normal for the engine to slightly rock (you're suddenly applying torque to the engine, and Newton's third says every action has an equal and opposite reaction, right?). The engine rocks slightly before the engine mounts stop it. Think about how much force the mounts absorb every time you do a NLS. Some really amazing design tech.

Sounds normal to me. Most any engine that isn't straight or "in-line" will do this.

Is your car brand-new? Has it been sitting in a lot for a while? A rough shudder is normal when the car's been sitting for a while. The shaking should go away after you drive it for a bit (day or two).

The car was sitting for 1 month.... built on April 30, delivered June 1
There is definitely something shaking under the gearbox. I feel a slight rattle in traffic....when moving off from a stop.

My car is a year old, and was sitting at the dealer for 20 days in April following a sensor issue (they ordered the wrong part, etc.) Rough shaking for a day or two, but went away. Wasn't shaking beforehand.

Take it out on the highway, do some spirited driving (safely), and see if the problem goes away. If not, take it in to the dealer!

There’s a TSB for the shifter rattling, predominantly in 1st, 3rd, and 5th. That’s an obvious rattle that comes and goes with RPM and different from what I’d consider a ‘shake’.

When you say vibrate, are you referring to a noise or the action? The shifter will shudder, but if you're hearing a vibrating NOISE then there is a warranty for that. After a year of owning my car my shifter would vibrate/rattle on idle all the way through 5, constantly. I took it in and they fixed it under recall/warranty. It just recently started rattling in 3rd and 4th so I might have to take it back.

TL;DR. If its making a funny noise take it for the bulletin
