Figure the GT500 will have a 5.2L Coyote variant, but not the FPC VooDoo oil drinker..so the price in terms of the engine will be a wash at say..$18,000-$20,000.

So let's take a GT350R which arguably will have more expensive things on it that the GT500 won't..like the carbon fiber composite wheels and instead go with lightweight forged units. So again..price washes out there.

Throw in some comfort bits the GT350's don't have, and an automatic option (either DCT or the A10) and I'd say, realistically, you're looking at a $70,000 GT500 on the upper end, maybe $75,000 loaded to the gills.

Not cheap for a Mustang, but also I don't think FoMoCo is willing to touch the 100K barrier yet with the Mustang, just like GM isn't with the Camaro.

Yes, it needs to come in at a price competitive to the ZL1, ZL1 1LE, and the Hellcat. And at that price it needs to come with full options just like the aforementioned vehicles come. None of this bullshit where you have to choose a "tech package" on top of the MSRP but then you can't add this or that without removing the "tech package" and if you do then you're stuck with the base Mustang infotainment stuff and no heated seats etc. The ZL1 has everything standard. So does the Hellcat. Ford is the only one in the same price range that has base equipment in their Shelby. If they do that with the GT500 then I'll lose what dwindling respect I have left, lol!!

That is exactly what I do. I enjoy my car. And I'm glad you'll have your tires in so you can get out there and enjoy yours and stop trolling us, lol. It's all in good fun tho. Safe driving man.

I understand this but the demand for this car will be very strong with the hiatus of the 500 for the past 4 years, dealers will take advantage of this for sure.

Maybe..maybe not. My most local Ford store sold the 5.8L GT500's at MSRP, but like you said, they hadn't been out of production at that time.

The A10 did the 1/4 in 12.1 ET, 118.8 MPH..and gapped the 6M by half a second.

I will be in the market for one. I'll probably have to wait for the 2020. And again, it depends on MSRP, options, and what it actually does on the street and track. By the time I go to a dealership it will be to drive off the lot with one. If they try to hit me with a markup I will decline and walk out of there. Simple as it is. I can't speak for others. I'm sure there are plenty suckers out there who don't mind getting ripped off. But considering the price we speculate it'll come in at, any markup will put it out of the range of the ZL1 and Hellcat and it won't be worth it. Not even $5K. And if anyone has learned a lesson over the past few years then people should know not to pay markups. But of course for someone with a ton of money laying around maybe $5K or $10K is nothing. I certainly know people who lose more than that in casinos and aren't phased one bit.

I was somewhat interested in the new GT500 as well . . . but then the new M5 came out. Will probably wait a couple of years for them to depreciate and grab one of those.

Not a valid pass, it was a ringer, the track was prepped, it can't run the Ring, you have to option the car, etc etc. Next up its a POS, motor will blow, no torque, etc, etc. Ok now that we have the excuses and criticism out of the way, nearly 119-mph

So whenever a legitimate criticism is made it is an excuse?

Yes, they usually are on prepped tracks. No, they can't run the ring. Yes, you do have to option the car a specific way. Which is why without optioning it in that specific format it ain't doing shit. No, they do not have much torque. Yes, they do have engine problems as we have been seeing over the past few weeks. These are not excuses. They are what we all have been seeing since they got these cars and ran them on rented tracks back in December.

well, what else is he gonna say? That the Mustang has been proven faster than the Camaro in more than one "official" test? In fact, its not even close anymore... .2 and 3.5mph is "next level" around here.

Lol

And he has been avoiding snowblind for weeks

Been calling him out on YouTube to race a bolt on SS a8 with tire. He won’t respond

He raped him from a roll in the previous vid. Not even close. It’s a 750 hp manual on stock tires running the 1/8 vs an auto on a tire. Not that surprised.

7.6@93 isn’t very fast for his mods on the GT actually. I went faster than that with less mods in my SS

And 7.4 for the zr1 is sad. They have run 10.0 in the quarter totally stock
