Tips for me with a RWD at the track
My question now is-- how do I launch the car with keep my stock drivetrain in one piece? Should I driver around the water box?
Info on the ride-- LS3 418whp and stock wheels

If you have radials front and back, drive around the water.
If running skinnies plus slicks in back, folks will drive thru the water. If I run skinnies and drag radials, I will go around the water and back up the car into the front part of the water. Doing your burnout on a damp part of the track is much nicer to your differential. When you are done with the burnout, let out of the gas nice, don't keep burning up the tires as you pull up. I'm not a stick guy so I'm done.

if u going to just drive to the track and want to make sure u have a ride back home. then launch off idle, gor around water and just spin the tires to clean them dont need a smoke show.

Mr. N I try not to sustain the burnout more than a couple feet from the burnout box with a car like mine. I might go longer and harder if I was running big slicks, you might for example burn out past the tree to lay down some rubber if the track isn't hooking.
