Unusual noise after MBRP axle back
For starters, I have a 2020 Camaro 2SS non-NPP equipped vehicle (dual exit exit exhaust).
I recently installed the GM factory rear diffuser to accommodate a quad exhaust. After installing the MBRP quad axle back, I have noticed at certain times I hear an almost high pitched albeit hard to hear whine in the cabin. It almost sounds electrical and only occurs during access or decel. I would say it sounds like electrical interference-ish or like an electrical motor going out. It stops when I pop into v4 mode while cruising aka dod. I have heard several types of rattle or vibration and it seems too high pitched for that. I know it seems crazy to correlate the two but this noise did not occur prior to the exhaust / diffuser install. The only thing that has me wondering is the fact that there are harnesses down there, specifically one you have to unclip from the factory valance. It's easy to tune out by rolling down the windows or putting on music but I want to be sure there isn't an electrical gremlin on the horizon that can be prevented. |

You do realize you're in the V6 section right?
