Tail of the Dragon - Amazing Drive!!

This car was absolutely made for this kind of driving. Highest g's I hit on the meter was 1.02, hard to watch it while driving though. Also, I got my taillamps just in time for my trip. I would have to recommend to anyone that has the opportunity to drive the dragon to do it.

Awesome how was the traffic? Looking forward to taking the car where I normally only ride the bike!

I went this last Thursday and then again on Sunday. Thursday there was very little traffic. I only came up on 2 cars on my first run on Thursday and both of them pulled off to let me by. Sunday it had rained and then rained some while I was there so I didn't push it as much with the wet roads. It was a little busier on Sunday though.

That is one awesome road! I have been trying to get up there for a few months now with my SS, but haven't been feeling well and just had surgery a few weeks ago. Now that I am starting to feel better I am starting to plan some weekend road trips, and the Dragon is on the top of my list! Did you drive on the Moonshiner 28? We go up there every year, an awesome resort over there down the road from the Dragon.

No I didn't, I was actually on my way to Atlanta from northern Indiana and had to take the "scenic" route just to drive the dragon with my SS. I drove it a few times and then headed on.

I agree about it being a fun and scenic road to drive.....
We did it last summer after Camaro Fest in BG.

I drove the blue ridge parkway from start to finish! What a drive! Would also recommend 100%

I live an hour and 30 minutes from the Dragon. Great performance drive if the traffic is down.

I driven it on 2 different motorcycles and my CTS a few years ago. Got a ticket in my CTS. Great fun, keeps your attention for a long time. I need to make time to take the new SS.
