I could do year round if I really wanted, I have a set of BFG Comp2 A/S. But it's not the weather that is the worrying factor, its the drivers in the Vancouver area is what the concern is. It's almost like a free for all at times lol

Think I remember seeing this picture on the 50th Anniversary Facebook page..LOL

Glad you are able to enjoy it year round!

2nd winter for me 2SS V8. Winnipeg has nasty winters, Pirelli Scorpion 20's on rims from a 2015 SS. I have had zero issues, love this car!

But the 6.2 is Nasty
I feel like the 6.2L would be a bit much for winter driving.

Buy a beater and save the car, there is no way your ever going to convince me that you won't get rock chips or salt blasted with the roads we have in Canada.i drive for a living 5,000 Kim's a week and my truck gets blasted on highway or city.Doesnt make sense to me to buy such a great looking car to have to swirve for falling chunks of ice and snow drifts but that's my thoughts.

I'm not to worried about that. Other then traction. I'm more worried about te front end splitter because it's pretty low, going through Icy snow banks etc, could be rough.

No way. My ZL1 with 650 HP is a great winter car. I went with 19" with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4's. Just can't be crazy with the throttle.

This is my second winter. No damage or chips.
Sure a few light scratches....but you just polish them out

Nice car, it's either a 3.6L or a 2.0L Turbo.

I was thinking for year round driving both would be manageable but the 2.0L would be more fun because of more torque.

Yeah you either get an extra 10 pounds of torque with the two liter or an extra 60 horse with the six cylinder

I went with the V6 but I have no beef with the turbo

I think both would be a ton of fun and manageable. the only one I'd be worried about is the 6.2L.

Imagine the 6.2 would be good as long as you never put your foot into it. And on regular days it would be an insane amount of fun if it's in your budget

We have had a record year for snow here and I drive my 6.2l Camaro 2SS everyday. It's all about throttle control. The studded tires offer crazy amounts of grip in the snow and ice. It is quite surprising. My only concern is the front spoiler being low and ruts in parking lots.

I have a 2013 F150 4x4 for those really bad days. Even though today is quite warm and the roads are clear I drove the truck today. Luckily I did, because my parking lot has huge melted ruts and rivers of water in them. I think this is only the 3rd time I've taken the truck.

The truck wears Blizzaks all around and I don't think it has the outright grip the Camaro has. Just better ground clearance and 4x4 to get started off.

This is NOT Camaro friendly!
