Kaizer-911 did a good job of answering. They do help and yes you order them from GM in the paint color of your choice. They are a perfect match. I've seen black ones on white cars that look really good. But for the 50th paint scheme I wanted to match.

I do agree with you on the white cars with black ones look awesome.

And yeah with our body color figured paint matched was best option.
