Am I to paranoid?

So I've owned my car since February 7th here in Des Moines Iowa, not even 5,000 miles on it and I've had two Mobil one full synthetic oil changes, royal purple transmission fluid exchange, Mobil one rear differential fluid exchange, high performance brake fluid exchange, two new rear 305/35/20 tires, and an alignment.. Anyone else as paranoid as I am as far as maintenance or is it just me?

I am in your camp...Changing fluids during break in will pay off in overall performance and life expectancy.

Why did you need tires so soon?

There Is nothing wrong with maintaining your car but if you are draining out clean fluid to install more clean fluid then it's a wastemof money. I understand changing them during breakin and also if you are tracking your car but there is a limit between well maintained and wasteful.

I'd guess if he needed new tires with under 5000 miles on his car, he dives it pretty HARD

i need to change my differential fluid soon too. Maybe I will change them here when I drain my breakin oil for the new engine. What did you use Royal purple or mobile 1 for the differential?
