Exhaust crossover Brace????

Guys, what is the piece called in the middle of the exhaust system underneath? It allows for more room for the pipes to move around and not hit. I'm tired of mine clanking. I need the aftermarket one that allows for more room.

Theres a guy on eBay making/selling these. If you search Camaro Tunnel Brace, it should come up. I got a red powder coated one and am very happy with the quality and fitment. Much stronger than the stock one.

Although - I have seen some people on this form say these are pointless because Camaro's do not flex in this area. Idk what to believe, but I bought one anyway and Im happy with it.

Did you notice any difference once you took it off ? I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my car and just taking it off. Thanks

So is it better just to take it off? Or just leave it alone? Thanks

Alternatively, you can space it out with some washers by putting some washers between the brace and the body.

My 3" exhaust fits great and I don't get any clunking, so I didn't have to, but I did pick up some fender washers just in case it did.

Really? Must not have looked very hard. If you search exactly what I said to search this is one of the first things that comes up....
