No leads at all. Big parking lot, with no booth operator, no security, no cameras. Culprit is long gone, and no way to know who or even when it happened.

I feel your pain. Someone in the past few weeks decided to lean or lay on my hood and scratched the hell out of the drivers side of my hood.

Sorry to here about your car. And yes, it is very disrespectful of some idiot to do. I don't know if this May help you out for future piece of mind when your leaving your baby alone to fend for itself but my wife and I went to the source (Radio Shack) and purchased two Fluid dash cams for $50.00 each. They have night vision, lithium rechargeable battery's and can record up to 10 hrs. With an SD card. We have one for the front view and one for the back. Just a thought.

It wouldnt even surprise me if it some hippie or some jealous kid who doesnt think his crap stinks.

Was this just this week or during stampede? Im also surprised they did it during daylight next to the trail. Wonder if it was some punk kids that put it on YouTube?

No this was on July 25. Stampede was earlier in the month.

I had something similar happen to my 1980 Firebird years ago at a party. Some bone head strolled in from the main road and walked across 10 or 12 cars all parked in a row that night. The "were, when, why" doesn't apply if you try to figure out their reasoning - you can't fix stupid.
