Takes significantly longer for aluminum to corrode. There are trucks less than 10 years old with rusted wheel wells. I service fleets of aluminum bodied vehicles that are 30 years old with only slight corrosion noticeable on some cast parts.

This is the the best looking picture of this new truck Ive found, and the best looking 1500 Chevy I've seen in years.

Love everything about this model. And look, NO GOD FORSAKING RAKE. I now like this better than Ram and Fords light duty offerings.

I just don’t like that painted piece sticking out between the headlight and turn signal. Otherwise, it’s not bad. I’ve traditionally preferred GMC trucks, so we’ll see.

Yes, it looks very good....in large part because it has plenty of "polarizing" chrome...lol...Better than a no-chrome blacked-out "murdered" look...lol

No? They tested it on the f150 for the last 4yrs. Very successful

It looks to much like a toy truck that they tried to make look tough and rugged

New revolutionary engine to debut in the new trucks on March 19 and it's not an inline 6 gas engine.

Quote:
GM plans to introduce a second all-new engine -- not an iteration of the inline-six -- on March 19. I am told it will not be a conventional engine in keeping with recent trends.

Oh goodness, glad they are offering body colored. I know some folks love the chrome, so they have to offer it, but man... that's a lot.

That body colored grille and bumper actually looks pretty good in my opinion. I'm not a chrome hater by any means, but the amount of chrome you get on those versions seems a bit much to my eyes.

I still can't help it, but my brain automatically sends "Toyota" signals when I see the side profile of that truck. Its definitely new DNA in the look of this truck.

We've known RST models were all body-colored since the reveal.

Kill it with fire!

Seeing more real life pictures of it confirms my opinion. It fell off the ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down and then someone continued to beat it with the ugly stick.

So do I have to buy the Trail Boss in black to get body colored?
