This.

I also drive mine daily, in the event of a flat I would need a tow to a shop. I put it on once for a track day I had coming up and just left it. Set it and forget it.

I don't care for it either. At least it has a purpose if you track, unlike the black wrapped hoods...

What's funny is these are the same people making fun of Hondas and other ricers yet they roll around with all these visual mods they serve no purpose.

Don't like the look but understand if the person tracks the car. If I had one installed I certainly would not paint it but to each his own.

You sixth gen guys are spoiled. I can easily take mine off but putting it back on is a pain that involves removing the inner fender well. Makes it pretty much useless unless you leave it on. I also track my car pretty regularly so doesn't make much sense to remove it. If I break down or spin off the track it looks a whole lot better than a ripped off front fender.

To each their own.

I personally think it looks cool. Sure, its a bit ricer if you dont actually track your car and have it on all the time, but so what? Let people enjoy stuff, even if its not stuff you personally enjoy.

For those that do keep them on daily outside of the track, pray you don't get in an accident where you rear end somebody... what could be just a minor fender bender or bumper tap with little to no damage will become a big puncture wound with major damage now thanks to that forward facing piece of metal in your front bumper/grille...

Thats the only reason i dont use one, but i do like how it looks, specially when red

Yeh...looks silly doesn't it? Also make it easy for someone to tow your car away.
