Id bet a paycheck she was distracted by something such as reading a text or social media right before or as she was pulling out.

A rubber mallet and a little Bondo and you're good to go.

Look on the bright side at least you weren’t hit on the drivers side and you escaped injury.

Looks exactly like my wife's 2016 Mazda CX-9 from a collision last fall. She was making a left at a light, light turned yellow, she waited and then went thru but a kid in a Honda sped up to beat the light and t-boned her (the light was RED I might add ). My disabled son was in the car with her but she had him sit in the front that day, good thing cause the hit was on the rear passenger door. No one was hurt and my wife was considered at fault tho that is now being contested by my insurance. The kid's parents got a lawyer and I think the investigation is going against him. Not my problem any more.

Only took us about 2 weeks to process and we had a check for the difference after the loan pay-off. Went right out and got a 2018 CX-9 cause we liked it so much.

BTW, I have Liberty Mutual with the new car replacement and accident forgiveness. Good thing I ponied up for the extras, the settlement was quite fair. You hope you never need it but glad it's there when you do.

I wish I knew. This guy did the same thing to me on a clear day by thinking a stop sign was a left turn green arrow. This starting damage was appraised at $11,300. It’s going to take at least 6 weeks to fix. Then there is reinstallation of Xpel, C7 rocker, and ZL1Addons bits. Ugh, headache.

Sorry this happened to you. I feel your pain. 😔

Still looks better than the 2019 refresh...?

But on a serious note, glad you're okay. Make sure they do total it out though, it'll never "be/drive the same" once repaired.
