Twin turbo kit in the works for LSA!
Its not a Camaro (at the moment anyway) but i wanted to share with you guys a project that we are working on right now. We are taking a gen 2 CTS-V and going with a low mount twin turbo setup. We are using Borg Warner EFR turbos capable of 1400whp. This customer isn't going to swap out his tranny, so we are tuning this one to be right around 800whp on pump gas. The ZL1 looks to be very similar to the CTS-V, so once this kit is completed, we will be looking to make some small changes and do a kit for the Camaro as well.
Just out of curiosity, who would be interested in doing a kit like this for their car? |

So when you talk ZL1 you are planning on removing the stock supercharger an all of its induction cooling components and installing a complete turbo system instead?

Yes. The supercharger will be coming off, and the customer will have the choice of manifolds. Stock LS manifold, Fast, edelbrock, ECT. |

If you actually let a custom put on a fast manifold on a turbo build I would be tempted to drive over and slap you FYI. Seen too many blow apart, and take motors out. They should not be used on a FI build. Throw a stock intake on.
Didn't see any of your LS powered cars out this weekend, just Evo, Porsche, and GTR.

Awesome picture! We are just giving the customer the choice, but you're totally right. Stock manifold is most likely whats going on the current build.
Well, its very unfortunate, but we built one of the fastest V's in AZ, and he blew is tranny on Thursday. It was putting down 890 at the wheel with one stage of the funny juice, and we just added a second stage. It should have been right around 1000 in a coupe. We were all pretty bummed about that. |

Introductory pricing for it is going to be $12,500 with Borg Warner EFR turbos. After the first 5 sold, the price will go up. We already have 2 deposits, so there's 3 more spots left for that pricing.
