1LE Tires
My 1le tires wore out in under 5k miles and honest...no burnouts or other abuse. I was shocked! Bought Nitto 555 G2s going on tomorrow. Haven't been able to drive my Camaro for a month waiting to get this fixed. They're worn to the point of being dangerous.

Have your alignment checked. Quite a few people get their new cars with a bad alignment

I had new tires installed and you're absolutely right. The front and rear alignment was way off and was probably the cause of my tire wear.

The SS1LE is an amazing performance Camaro,
but on DD including spirited driving the SS would be also a great option. On MT's H2H the base SS Camaro performed better than the BMW M4. I used to buy the top track model car, but after my local PCA track closed its doors, also because of not having locally roads with challenging curves, I don't have an excuse for paying higher maintenance cost for replacing wider tires and bigger brakes. I think that my SS2 Camaro with the 6MT is my perfect fun car. V8 with a MT and the nimble Alpha chassis is my perfect combination for my daily use. It all depends on your needs.

4 months later, he already made a decision...
IMO 1LE package is too good of a value to turn down. You can always get wheels/tires more suitable for DD duties. Otherwise the front brake rotors seem to be the only $$$ part that would suck to replace if you're not tracking it.

I have a 2SS.
I do love that there are options but I do not love some of the restrictions on packages and options. I would have loved to get the Performance Data Recorder but I also wanted the Kalahari Brown interior. You can not get both (at least that wasn't an option for the 2019 model). If you get the LE you also get the black interior (as well as the matte black hood and mirrors). Again, it's great to have options though. I do get a lot of compliments on my interior and do not regret my choice. I sit in the car and drive more often than I have thought about recording a drive. |

If you want the best handling performance Camaro you can get get the 1le. I swear it will make you smile like a hooker on blown. Everyone loved them. And I didint plan to go on track but after.many canyon runs and seeing how great the car was i wanted more. So put her on the track and fell back in love with this car. There is also a very niche community of these drivers. I find them on back roads here and there and they r peeps that just want to drive rather then cars and coffee.

Yeah, bc an SS at 3.9 0-60 doesn’t offer any.

I went with a 1SS 1LE and put in a kick ass aftermarket audio upgrade and haven’t looked back! This car rocks!
