Cruised around with the new converter, only went about half throttle. I really hope it lets the car get up to ~3,000 rpm launch.
LT4 injectors, LT4 HPFP and all new fuel hard lines are installed. As you might have already saw I bought new fuel lines. 1st one being the fuel feed to the HPFP, located by the valve cover. The factory has a flex section that I heard was restrictive. 2nd one being from the HPFP to the center fuel rail section on the valley cover. The lt1 style had a 90* angle, the new one has a 45* angle. I think this was a waste of $35. Not for one second do I think switching from one smooth 90* to a smooth 45* is an improvement on my car. I trimmed and trimmed and shaved the foam pad that goes between the fuel system and the intake manifold. I finally got sick of it after the 4th time and lef it out. The LT4 hpfp is taller than the LT1 and the 45* line is obv different than the 90*. I noticed there is very slight HUM now, and it goes away when I put my hand on the manifold. Oh well, maybe I'll revisit that another day, not sure if it keeps heat away from the manifold or is for noise reduction. I also installed my AC Stretch belt. A bit of a pain in the ass, esp because I left my cold piping installed. I did not have any special tools. I used zip ties on the crank pulled and my thumb on the ac pulley. Cranked it around and the belt went on. I should have the tap and drill bit this week so I can install the DSX aux low side. I also still have my msd 2 step to install then I'm off to the dyno to make some power.

I installed the DSX aux low side kit tonight. Super easy. Sure hope the fitting in the bottom of the tank doesn't leak. I might be able to check it tomorrow.
Couple things, love the complete harness and how it uses the MAP and not a hobbs switch. I had mine configured to something low like 3 psi. I wish the wires out of the box were longer so I could mount it somewhere besides right by the fuse box. Right now I have it zip tied up to make sure everything is good while testing. The hoses could be a bit shorter, I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to making braided lines. But I understand they are mass produced. I'm getting pretty excited to finally lean on this thing. One thing I still have to do is either buy a couple new springs for my TIAL 60mm wastegate or the ol trusty hallman pro manual boost controller. I used one of those on my last turbo truck and it worked great.

No leaks from the tank or fittings, I used the prime button on the box to make sure every thing was good. With the under lament back up, you cant even tell there's an aux fuel system on the car. You can't hear the pump at all. One thing left to do before tuning, adding my msd 2 step. Maybe Sunday I'll get to that.
I also ordered a trailer for the chance that I'm at the track and break something. I don't want to be stranded with my 6 year old. I will also be using it on my trip to IN for the half mile event. I ordered a 18 foot flat deck trailer. Their options were 5' or 6' dove tail with ramps. The Camaro isn't extremely low but I didn't want to have to use wood to keep it from scraping. I called the place to find out the deck height and dove tail height. Deck height is 20", 5' dove tail drops 3" which ends at 17" height. As you guys know the trailer should be leaning back unloaded so I took another inch off. When I pull the car up it should level out on the trailer. Made a make shift approach angle with a tape measure, wood and buckets. With 5' ramps I have clearance up to 18.5 inches. I should be in the clear and the lowest part are the little black plastic air diverts in front of the tires. Looks like with the standard 5' dove tail and ramps the car will be able to be loaded right up. These also have a fender height of 8" above the deck. The Camaro has 11" ground to door clearance with me in it. They wanted another $75 for removable left fender but I opted out. I can always to it myself if I ever need to remove it but for my car, it shouldnt be an issue. I'm going down to PA tomorrow to pick it up. http://www.econotrailer.com/Full.html 18 ft. That was in park w the damn brake booster hose falling out of the back of the intake. Lol. When I’m loading her up at the tree. It should perform and sound good. I don't think the converter will allow it to get to 4K rpm under load.
I also messed with my DSX. When I first installed it the led was RED when the car was running. I checked the MAP connection, Ground and Power. All seemed fine. Last night I found the brake booster line was not in the back of the manifold all the way and leaking. I fixed that and the led on the DSX went to GREEN when the car was running. When I press the button to prime it, the button turns blue for 4 seconds while the prime is accruing. I wasn't sure if the led should be a constant green and emailed DSX. They replied and said yes it is and everything is working properly. I ordered a Hallman PRO manual boost controller which will take 30 seconds to install. I dropped a socket and a rocker switch down in the engine bay and have to take the bottom plastic pieces off to get them, fer.
