"Pantera" made 445 RWHP

In 3rd gear on the Mainline Prohub, it ran 445 RWHP on 91 octane.

I was hoping for a little more, but to be honest, I'm comfortable with the gain. Got about a whole hundred more horsepower, and being auto...I don't think it's too shabby!

Also man am I glad I had a friend just show up in front of me that day with a Dodge 2500 to tow the thing down to the tuner. What a guy.

Awesome! Glad you got it complete. Good numbers. Did you do that reflective shielding behind the engine on the firewall?

Edit: BTW, how does your bottom end torque feel with that Night Fury cam? I heard they can be dogs down low but that the top end is crazy strong. Can you post a cold start idle video whenever/if you have time?

I'll try and post all of that for you man, I'm glad to have it running again. The bottom end is pretty solid, I'll have to run it a good bit more to give you a decent judgement. I'm honestly scared to open it up now that I have a whole 100+ hp gain on wheels alone.

There is some heatshielding on the back of the engine bay, though it could stand to have some more, lol.

Not bad number. That is a good gain for an auto. Time for more go fast parts!!

Infid3vil, on mine I didn't find I lost much down low. I love how mine sounds and drives. Still fine tuning some.

I ask because the Night Fury has one of the sickest lopes I have heard but I don't want to lose too much off the line. I would need a converter anyway, but just curious. Tax time is coming and I have to make up my mind if I am doing engine or appearance mods.

I asked about that heat shielding because my OEM heat blanket is kind of shredded behind the engine, partly from the swap and from getting my hands back there.

With a good stall you won’t lose anything off the line. I wish I got tax money back I always owe.

Great gain man. What stall did you go with?

I think for now I'll wait on the go fast parts, it's time to make the appearance what I want it to be. I can now match the HP to the rice, lol.

Oh, so my heat shielding is also shredded, I did nothing to correct it at all, but the temperature is very noticeable. I'd recommend putting some in for comfort's sake...I just don't care to right now.

That was from all of the mods.

Went with a Circle D 3200 stall. It does well for the cam.

Good gains, when are you taking it to the drag strip? You might see 11s if you can hook it

They had a run at the local track, but I couldn't make it the same night it was being tuned.

I'll get over there one of these days though
