I'm at about 350 miles since my flush and I still experience some vibration and shaking. I will be taking it back to the dealership for the torque converter replacement, probably next week.

We’d be happy to provide another layer of support with the dealership, JKLNHYD. We want your ownership to be as seamless as possible and understand how upsetting a vibration concern may be. Feel free to send us a private message with your VIN, mileage, full contact information, and preferred dealership name if interested!

I had just taken mine in on this past Saturday, because the RPMs would bounce between 200 and 700 while cruise control was activated. AFM would not activate and it stayed in V8 mode. The tech told me GM said that was normal, I highly doubt that being cruise is supposed to keep the RPMs at a constant.

Anyway, this morning it felt as if I was running over rumble strips, or running over the markers denoting the starting of the opposite lane. But, I was in the center of the lane.

i am having this problem now. 2017 ss. it is exactly as described above. under a very light load(flat road) i can feel the rpms bump up and down. under a little more load like a slight incline it gets more noticeable and under a little more load it starts to feel like rumple strips. here is a log that i took. it looks to be the converter. also if i manually command it locked with hptuners it smooths out. the odd feeling timing matches the bumps in the chart below.

while the car with not completely warm it didn't have this issue and the slip was between 5-15rpm.

what a bummer. i have to now decide if i want to take it back to stock which at this point would be pretty easy and then hope they fix it for me or just buy a converter. a circle D converter is on my long list but i wasn't wanting to get one for awhile.

FYI - The rumble strip symptom seems to be a common issue with the C7 Vette as well. There's a 5 page thread on the Corvette Forum about the same issue.

thanks to this forum, I knew to tell my dealer what I thought was going on. It took a week and a loaner car, but my 2016 SS now has a new torque converter.

Mine has been in the shop 4 times now for transmission related issues. Each one has been resolved.

It does make me a bit leery to trade for the 10 speed ZL1.....at least for the first run or two

Crap, looks like I am in the same boat. I have been telling my dealer for a while now about it. No I am modded. Got to see how this plays out. I wonder if you have the dealership do the latest ECM/TCM updates it will only show the last GM CVN? That should take care of the warrantee deal with tuning. I am sure I also have the dang rear end thing as well. It groans pretty bad in the mornings while it is still cold.

since my torque converter replacement, my car shifts hard like it's got a rate 2 shift kit in it. It's nice, just different

My 2017 SS started doing this exact thing at about 1600 miles. At 2000 miles the Mylink system completely died and I have to wait on that part. So when I take it in for the Mylink HMI module replacement I'm going to report the transmission shaking issue. I'm starting to wonder if buy a new Camaro was a wise choice. Maybe I should have stuck with my 2011 Z06. I can't believe I am having these problems and the car just turned 2000 miles.

I felt this same thing at 67 to 70 mph cruising. Great back to the dealer for yet a other issue. This will teach me to be patient and never buy a car when it first comes out. This is one of many issues .
