So many of you jumping on the bandwagon to make fun....
I'm actually interested, pm sent if I'm not too late. I got my car on order, just gotta wait another 7+ weeks, so plenty of time to fit in a discount

That's awesome man. It pays to be a part of this forum. However not too sure I'll be so quick to post another one of these judging by the amount of trolls i got.

Anyone know how long do you have to apply a private offer to the sale? For an ordered car that won't be at the dealer for ~8 weeks would this expire?

Thanks! I'm wondering when I should try the tricks to get one

thanks bud!

now... maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I hope my dealer doesn't try to pull some crap like devaluing my trade in by an extra thousand when my ride arrives plus my salesman agreed to 800 off msrp already, so fingers crossed!

Good luck keep us posted on how that offer holds up. And about your trade be firm most dealers won't let little numbers ruin a deal.

Agree on a price for your trade before you tell them about your private offer..

I think I might just be overthinking it. I'm a return customer to this dealer, and my salesman is a straight forward kind of guy (its thanks to him that I actually have the job I have now that is making it possible to afford an SS) However, they already are valuing my trade in at about 2k above Kelly blue book for trade in value, so idk if that will change come signing day. Worst case scenario, I don't get the car I custom ordered from them and get one from another dealer with similar options... I really don't want that tho.

That's a good idea, but that would require me to stop driving my trade in to keep the value steady. I might try to see if they will take my trade in now, but that will make it difficult for my wife and I to get around.

Is there a time limit for presenting the private offer?

When are you buying the car? Or is it on order?
