Just curious, it's your car, so I'm not complaining or arguing, I have lost more than that on crazy car projects that didn't end well. In fact the car I mention in the first half of this post, I just assumed the previous owner knew what oil to put in the $12-14k engine. Guess what.....he didn't.

A manual SS and especially a 1LE can make for an a very competent street / drag car automatic conversion.

way stronger shafts and rear diff for starters.

My buddy put a TH350 in a M6 6th gen. He had to make a custom adaptor plate and a mount for the trans to line it up properly. That's about all I know.

Its a complicated swap. We are still having problems with the switch over in our Magnuson Camaro. Now we plan to use the Holley EFI stand alone system like the Copo Camaro's use.

Can the Holley control the DI injectors now? I heard they were working on it but, were having "overheating problems" with the injector drivers.
