I bought my 17 1LT RS V6 A8 HBM Convertible in September for just under 43% off MSRP. The car stickered at $37,830 and I drove off at just $21,600 plus tax and tags after rebates and negotiated disciunt. The dealer also located the exact car I wanted at another dealership 100 miles away and brought it in the next day.

The dealership was a volume dealer and they were on a sales push to hit their number. I have bought many new cars over the last 40 years and have been on the other side of deals along the way too. This one was a deal of a lifetime. The car is worth more right now on a trade than I paid for it brand new.

I got mine at 12% off, which I thought was pretty good for the only 1LE with PDR within a 150 miles radius from me. And they had to trade with another dealer. I'm happy with the deal, that's really all that matters.

I found a left over 2016 2SS vert auto with 750 miles on it. They are at 25% off sticker. Asking $39,990 - I think I should be able to get it for the low to mid 30s. Heck, the 2019s will be out soon.

I was going to get my 17 1SS 1LE new for 13% off at the local Chevy dealer in October 17. I ended up getting one sold by the same dealership lightly used from the 1st owner December 2017 for 23% off MSRP with 850 miles in better condition than their cars sitting on the dealer new lot. Factoring in the additional savings not paying b.s. dealer fees and additional taxes on a higher purchase price, it was closer to 26-27% off.

You can’t compare the % off from a used car to a new car.

Wondering, I'm planning on purchasing a 2SS in the near future, what are you guys bringing to the table to acquire 20% off MSRP deals?

Just curios, did you guys finance at 0% APR as well? I bargained back and forth quite a bit, for over a year, and I came to the conclusion that if I was going finance at 0%, I wasn't going to get them to move much off the price. I was able to get some to move off the MSRP 10%, but not with the 0% financing. I was dealing with a dozen dealers within 200 miles of my home and the best I did was around 8% off MSRP with 0% APR. Maybe buying a convertible in the middle of summer wasn't a good idea.

2016 2SS A8 NPP NAV Yellow
I bought mine on April 15, 2016 it came directly off the truck I was the first to drive it. only got 3% off MSRP went through my credit union at 2.49% for 72 months no payments for 90 days best I could do. I do not know how these guys was able to get 10 to 25% unless they had a major connection or bought in the winter months. Most of us are lucky to get a couple of thousand off. This is just my 2 cents.
