Rode Out My First Airbag, 2SS Camaro TOTALED!!
It's been a difficult 2 weeks overcoming multiple injuries but the excellent safety systems in my 2010 Camaro 2SS very likely saved mine and my wife's lives in an outrageous auto accident. A tourist from Mass coming to a Poconos resort was clearly unaware of our dark & windy rural roads. She took a sharp turn far too fast, crossed our lane, hit an embankment, then a tree which launched her into a full on barrel-roll. The Cadillac SRX rolled UPHILL blocking both lanes and landed UPSIDE DOWN on top of the hood of our oncoming Camaro. There was absolutely no way to avoid the MASSIVE impact. We are counting our blessings and feel very LUCKY to be alive. GM did a great job designing the quality airbag systems in our car. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!! This GM family has much to be THANKFUL for this year.

I'm a bit uncertain what I'll purchase next. My car only had 17K miles and I expected to keep it for at least another full year. I'm not too keen on the '14 restyle, can't get Inferno Orange anymore and the price his risen considerably for a like equipped car. I may consider a cheap lease sedan to get through the difficult northeastern winter and save up toward a base model C7 Vette late next year. For now I'm relegated to a lowered 98 S10 2WD 4.3 5 speed with 180K miles while my wife drives our Pontiac G8 GT with dedicated winter tires. We survived so... NO COMPLAINTS!!

If I totalled my Camaro, I'd get a low miles 2013.
