I’ve been daily driving the car for a little over a year and half with an 80 mile round trip commute and the car has been good to me. No serious issues!

I daily drive my 2017 50th Anniversary 2SS and have since I bought it in late 2016. I'm approaching 60K miles with the only major issue being the torque converter replacement due to the A8 shudder. Still looks almost new!

Car is garaged but I drive it whenever I need to go anywhere, including grocery store, drive-thru food, etc.

I just retired, so no real commute anymore, but I go out for a nice long drive at least a couple of days every week.

This car is just so, so good...

(insert perma-grin here)

As a DD of a 6speed SS since the spring of 17' I'm fine. Almost a 43k miles. Park mine on street. Runs and looks like new when clean.

I don't think I could keep my car presentable if I used as my DD. Seems like curbing the wheels and damaging the splitter would be inevitable given the visibility issues, however, I'm sure everyone's situation is different. I do a lot of parallel parking and parking as well as parking in pull-in space on streets with high curbs. I could, however drive my Camaro on my 100 mile round trip commute without issue

I've been DD'ing my 2016 SS vert since the day I bought it (Labor Day 2016). 160 commute miles/week. No major issues thus far. ::knock on wood::

Been right at a year since buying it and I'm happy so far. Of course, I work from home, but it's comfortable, gets relatively good gas mileage, and does autox things well. It's just a challenge getting a full set of wheels/tires in it. Thinking about picking up a second car for autox/hpde duty and leaving the Camaro to be the daily for a while. Also looking at buying a house at the end of the year or early next year, so we'll see if that changes anything.

I mean, this is a fun car but unless you have a ZL1 I feel like 90% of Camaros are DD. Got my LT1 as my only car with the intent to use daily, even with 3 kids (2 boosters in the back). Put the winter tires on and try to stay off the roads if it snows too much. But, the wife has an SUV for full family use.

No issues so far.

I'm doing well, around 64,000km on mine since late 2016. Haven't put much on it since I've been working from home since March 2020 so I haven't put many more km on it since then, but I'm driving it at least once a week. Had some intial quality issues with the HVac, infotainment system and interior trim but they've been corrected. Nothing else really.

I'm actually glad I didn't buy the V8, since I live in a giant city I can't even use the V6's power most of the time and the significantly less expensive fuel (uses less and 87 octane) is nice, gas is much more expensive here in Canada. I also have winter tires so that's not generally a problem.

That said, my next daily driver will feature more head room and probably 5 doors. But that's probably more of a me problem.

Been dailying mine since Nov 1/2016. Near 200,000 miles later, very very very few issues.

3 days a week I drive 64 miles trip for work. If I get the money in a year or so I might just buy a 2015 Mustang GT or something like that as a second car beater once prices go down more. Easy to mod and cheaper than a Camaro used for a base model GT. I don't like racking up miles on my car!

Coming up on 40,000 kms (25,000 miles) since I took delivery in June 2018. I used to drive it twice a week to work, 25 miles one way; with weekend miles on top of that.

Now that I'm permanent work from home, I drive it year-round when the roads are dry. The back end catches dirt and grime a lot more than the rest of the body, and as I don't like a dirty car, it's tiresome to wash the whole thing for a few feet of dirty body work. My '16 Malibu LT is the go-to car for rainy or snowy days.

I do have snows on their own winter-rated alloy rims, but this winter I left them off due the mild winter prediction, which has been accurate so far. Snows would be off by mid-March regardless.

No issues so far. Only warranty fix was the trans flush at 18K miles that fixed the shudder problem.

I love my Camaro!

I don't think that's true - maybe in aggregate, but not for members of this forum. I have 3 other cars - classic Camaro, BMW M5 and a Colorado.
