This is exactly why I replied to this thread in the beginning of the thread. Didn't expect so much hate either. I've seen people do this for years in various cars including little Miatas like you mention.

Just because some hilljack tows with his Miata doesn't mean his Miata is designed for towing either.

Owners manual also says.. don't modify the car or risk of breaking warranty. I see lots of modded cars.


Small utility trailer should have minimal impact - if you are that worried, get a tongue w sway control.

If you have to tow .... Don't use the Camaro ... buy a truck...like this

And to the guy towing a 31 foot Prowler.... You are an accident waiting to happen... I hope you don't kill anyone ....
