FLOORJACKS- What are you using ?

Doing some due diligence on 1/1/2 ton ,low profile, lightweight floorjacks.Of concern is the fact that sensibly affordable ones (under $200) all come from China and the few made in the USA are either 2 or 3 ton and $500 plus.
Would like to read about your experiences and recommendations. An additional purchase that interests me is the ZL-1 Addons aluminum safety piece that keeps the jack from accidentally lowering.

Low profile 3 ton Daytona jack from Harbor Freight. Works like a charm (and I have ZL1 style side skirts, the worst case scenario for floor jacks).

I use two 3.5 ton Arcan low profile jacks I bought at Costco about 15 years ago. Costco occasionally still carries them, at least in my local store. If I recall they are around $130.

Blue one? I've got an Arcan, probably 20+ years old - its a tank and just keeps going.

I'm with you on the need for a multi-tool approach. Race Ramps and a H.T. Daytona 1 1/2 Ton aluminum floor jack. I also have the ZL-1 lift pads. The money is substantial but I never go cheap when it comes to safety. If H.T. runs a sale, I might even go for two floor jacks. I can't make my mind up whether I want the 72" Race Ramps or the 67 ". It's all about money and the space this stuff takes up.

My main concern was clearing the front of the car without scraping the ramps, and the 67" is perfect for me. I've got the 2 part ramps, which are very nice. IIRC another reason I opted for the 67" is that it gives a 10" height whereas I think the 72" were slightly lower (8" maybe)? Space is at a premium for bigger dudes like me when trying to work under the car

Red actually. They are excellent jacks, never had one issue with them.

Low profile Daytona jack. I keep a 3ton in the garage and a 1.5 in the trunk.
They get the job done. I recently retired one after almost 20 years of indoor/outdoor service.

my China Freight low profile jack has been amazing! I bought it a few years ago when I had a lowered SRT Challenger

FWIW, I just ordered one of these for my Daytona jack. Wondering if anyone else has used this product? I have other stuff from ZL1 and it has been great.

I never trust jacks if I'm under a vehicle, so as mentioned above, anything for safety/redundancy is worth it in my book.

Harbor Freight low profile jack is the best, mine has been solid for 5 plus years.

I've narrowed it down to the Harbor Freight 1 1/2 Ton all aluminum Daytona low profile that costs $299. Pricey, but the reviews are great and it only weighs 36#. Crazy, but I might even get a second one cause ZL-1 Add Ons recommends using two. Now to find out if ZL-1 jack safety actually fits this model.
