Traded 6th gen V6 for 2018 1SS
I wanted to thank everyone for having me here. I just traded my 2020 V6 for the 2018 SS and man do I LOVE it.
They gave me $3500 more than I paid for my car! with 12k miles for the 2020 and only 11,200 for my new 2018. I just think it looks better in the front end. It has NPP and everything I wanted. It's only problem is fading of the caliper "Camaro by Brembo" is fading on all 4 brembo rotors. I am having them refurbished (hopefully). The car is Red Hot color. Not my first choice.....but the car is very very nice. I have never had a car with this much power. It has rev matching too...which I love and the 8" screen and SS I/P is awesome at the same time. But shiftingp with 455 hp is thrilling. It also has a power sunroof that I did not expect. I am tinting the windows and adding my Pioneer 12" powered Sub. It's the dream car I should have bought in the first place. I am going to ask the dealer about the calipers for they are willing to do. Then there is a local place that does it as well. It is the reason I got it for $37k instead of $47k. Ted Britt Chevrolet had 1 ZL1 and 3 new 1SS models and wanted $41,000 for an LT1with ZERO options. It's the market I guess because I have been to 4 dealerships heard the same story. My 1LT V6 6 speed garnered $26k in trade. $3k more than I paid for it. Chevy isn't making many and I hear this is the last year to snatch one up. So I did. You only live once!!!! -Chris |

Congrats.... Ted Britt is not the dealership I would have chosen. Most VA dealers are overpriced, so I went to Maryland to get mine (Koons White Marsh)
2024 is the last year for the Camaro (so they say) Enjoy the SS

Congrats, you chose very well 2018 was the best model year for the SS, with a couple issues fixed and still on the good looking original body design. At least that's how I see it
Since the calipers need to be refurbished anyway, why don't you get them painted red hot instead, with either a Brembo decal or the same "Camaro by Brembo" lettering in white?
