Edelbrock Supercharger "guaranteed to fit stock hood"
Hey guys (and gals but let's face it...mostly guys lol).
I will get eight to the point. My 2020 1LT 3.6 has the E-Force Supercharger and it is really awesome combined with my Bilstein B-14 PSS system. It turns every corner into fun, and then hit the gas and 1/2 second later I am blasting out with a big stupid grin on my face. So that is the great news. The bad news is that the hood does not completely close. It DOES latch, but it is 1/4" too high in the front. We tried a smaller top pully....which helps but I know the hood is still being eaten by that top pully. Is the SS hood and the LT hood the same? I am NOT interested in spending $500 for a plastic hood, but I would swap for an SS hood and add $200 to the swap. I just got it out of the shop, and nobody but me notices. But I NOTICE. I am irritated with my shop for not fixing it. But they same there was noting we can do. You need a taller hood, or hood bulge. It's exactly what I didn't want to happen. Yes it looks good....but zoom in on the hood in the front -CamroChris |

Go watch the starting scene of Ford vs. Ferrari. Then buy a big ass mallet.

You might need an Andersons composite hood, I don't think an SS or ZL1 hood would fix your issue. Maybe research if there are motor mounts that can lower the engine a tiny bit.
