17 1ss non bose sub install
  ]Well Sold old sub box for the 14... Got the new one for the 17 from ********... Thanks Steve.. tight fit somewhat but very nice.  ....Used my old school rockford punch(ol reliable)..lol...800.2 bridged mono reused my Alpine Type R subs.... Used low level adapter off OEM amp... with amp trigger.. as well as M-bass Digital.. Basically like LC2i Seems to hit WAY WAY harder than when in the 14 may actually need to tone it down a tad....  Thanks also goes out to Jason Ramsey for his help...  Thanks to those here (chris,etc ) who posted wiring,diagrams,etc. TY   oh btw: did snip the green/green black.. hear no exhaust sound in subs...<?< Last edited by Alfieboy; 05-12-2017 at 06:22 PM. well
all was good but the green /green black wire didnt fix the noise thru subs ......:( unplugged connectot for now..was terrible.... did anyone ever find a fix yet?........... re checked.: disconnecting the green w/black stripe and the blue w/black strip did removes the nasty sub noise. plugged black connector back in..all works now.... with no noise in sub..TY . ......again: 17 1SS NON-Bose...
