Even the strongest industrial tape (and we use some pretty strong stuff) is no match for 175mph. On our truck, the factory window trim was peeling away at high speeds. It folded the factory nose piece under based on videos and still shots people took. Had to make an armored nose piece or it would have eventually torn off. It's a LOT of force.

If it takes 500hp to go 175, that means 450hp is pushing on the body.

Yes, if you are really going to run at that speeds. Some may never track it and tape would be fine, the 3M VHB will hold it on in the low position. It's stock so I will drill it.

OK here is an update:

1. I had no luck in ordering the wickerbill through a large online GM parts supplier.
2. There is a NEW AND AMAZING webpage on installation: http://sandyblogs.com/techlink/?p=3303
3. Can someone access and post (or message me with the doc) the "Camaro Accessory Installation Manual available in the Service Information."?
4. I want to order the "riv-nut installation tool (BO-42151-8MM-KIT)", can someone help me?
5. I want to order the wickerbill, can someone help me?

I'm going to do my own install.

PDF capture of the page attached to this post in case the original pages "disappear".

What's a riv-nut tool cost? I think it's ridiculous that GM doesn't have these available yet. Seriously! wtf?
