E85
I am looking to run e85 here soon. Does anyone have any experience with the flex fuel kit? What is the minimum injector size you need to go with? To run E do you only need upgraded fuel pump, bigger injectors, flex fuel kit, and tune? Are there any vendors on here that carry the kit?

You will need to provide more info on what mods you have to even give a reasonable guess of what parts to get. I have a zl1 pump and upgraded injectors with a H/c/I car

Car currently has vararam intake, long tube headers, axel back. I am putting in a BTR stage 4 cam, dual valve springs, hardened push rods, and all the necessary things to convert from a single bolt cam to a 3 bolt.

Why do you want to switch? there is no significant reason to switch to E85 it may be cheaper but you will get less miles per gallon or per tank. plus
who knows what the long term effects would be. stick with fossil fuel |

Long term it is much better for you and your wallet, the car, your country, your planet. All motor, all alcohol, I've travelled distance equivalent to 3/4 way to the Moon. BTW flex fuel is not an either or decision, you can choose to run unrefined fossil 87 or pure clean 107 when on offer at the pump and the e38 will know what's what.

I am currently running LSA injectors and they are at 80% duty cycle. With the addition of the BTR stage 4 cam I would go ID850 at least and you will need a fuel pump upgrade. You should make more power then my bolt on set up. E85 is great mod

Too bad E85 is not as available here in the states like down under! At least not in my area..
Also I believe the tune will change if you switch from one to another so that is also a consideration...good luck...

Once tuned on 93 and if your using the flex fuel sensor, just tune the alcohol tables and you can put either or in the tank and mix it however you like. I swap back and forth depending on when I need fuel.

That's exactly what I am wanting to do is run a blended mix for the track. So you guys think ID850 injectors at least and will the zl1 fuel pump work? Anyone know any vendors with good prices on these? The stock FPCM should be fine with the horsepower range I will be at correct?

N/A stock ZL1 injectors and pump should do fine.
I have CTSV pumps and injectors which are similar. I'll have mine fully swapped real soon. |

Bo, Im just about to the limit on the LSA injectors where I'm at. Last dyno log they were at 80% at peak torque. E85 and the 30% additional flow tax them quickly.
