2017 Camaro V6 45k service cost

Hi, i went to the dealer today and got my oil changed and also replaced my cabin filter and engine filter for my 45k service. They also recommended transmission service for $205 and rear differential service $180. My car has a auto transmission. Is it worth it? i told them to skip it for now. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the "transmission service" they are planning to perform? Is it the flush procedure perhaps to prevent/resolve the known shudder concern? If yes, they should do it for free based on TSB 18-NA-355, since you are still within the 60k powertrain warranty.

The rear diff service is probably also a fluid flush, I would've done that much earlier, but if you have no issue such as the also known diff groan (TSB 17-NA-187), you will probably need to pony up the cash. The quote they gave you for it is not unreasonable.

yeah it is for the rear diff fluid flush and for the transmission its the fluid flush as well i believe. i will double check about the transmission one. Are the cost for both services reasonable?

Yes, IMO they aren't gouging you, but you shouldn't have to pay if your car exhibits the known symptoms, these are powertrain warranty repairs.
