Pricing question
Looking to upgrade my 5th Gen to a 6th. Anyone have an idea what is a good price on a 2017 50th edition with low miles would be ? I find the prices are still high on these cars even when 3-4 years old. Right now looking at a 50th edition with super low miles (3,500kms) their asking $43,000. What were these cars brand new ?
Thanks. |

think i found the one youre looking at, 2SS?
my 1SS AUTO with mag ride, splitter, spoiler was 51k brand new. this was before the auto 1LE option. absolute base price was 43k new. im seeing a couple of SS's in the high 39's with under 10,000 on them, up to you if 4 grand is worth the lower kms |

Yes its a 2SS. I thought all the 50th editions were I could be wrong. Love the grey color and don't mind the orange accents. Can't believe how many times they put "Fifty" all over the outside and inside of the car. A little excessive IMO but I could live with it. If yours was $51k then I'm guessing this car was around $53k-$54k. Cars typically really drop in value the first 2-3 years so not sure why they'd still be worth $40k plus. Normally cars in that price range new would only be worth $35k max after 3 years regardless the mileage. Maybe these Camaro's really hold their values. Just trying to gauge the value in CDN $$ for these 16' 17' 2SS's. Any opinions are welcomed thanks. |

the V8 holds value like crazy compared to the 6 and 4 cylinders, theres one on autotrader with 120,xxx kms and its at 20k still aha! you can get an '18 for low 40s, extra years of warranty with little more clicks, goodluck!

Ok good to know thanks. I was only looking at 16's and 17's but yes I see your right the 18's aren't much more and it looks like the 18's have nicer darker taillights. Didn't want to spend over $40k though.
