Pretty sure that is the shift pattern on the V6 6-speed cars so they weren't fully wrong

It's like the Carvana commercial they STILL air that says "2016 Camaro SS" but shows a picture of a 5th Gen.
It pisses me off everytime I see it!

Yep, this is the shift pattern for the Tremec TR-3160. Would've been nice if they offered the TR-6060 knob as well and distinguished them in the shop.

Don't get stuck in write-only mode, guys. There are 2 patterns, one for the TR-3160 in lower trims (LS, LT) and one for the TR-6060 in higher V8 trims (SS, LT1, ZL1).
The t-shirt in the OP depicts the pattern used with lower trims, so it is at least partially correct, if a bit underwhelming.

reverse is to my left side. It’s my worst fear that I put it in first instead of reverse. Hate the pattern |

Last time I drove a manual was a 5-speed with the reverse on the right side, much easier. The parking break was mechanic and easy to remember as I have good muscle memory, but my attention is awful. The reverse lockout helps yes |
