Its up and running including test drive

So we finally go it running after a few setbacks that needed to be resolved. First off I couldn't down load a start up file as my computer was screwing up and kept saying Virus Scan failed. I even turned off McAfee to see if it was causing it with their fire wall. Finally took it into a shop and they figured it out, can't really figure out what changed since I down loaded a fill a couple months back. Anyway, did a log for a short street drive and all seemed ok with just a base start up tune.
Now I'm trying to figure out what channel I need to load for my AEM afr. I have Mpvi2 and I don't know which of the 1-8 channels is the correct one to log.

The tuning school has a great video about setting up the aem and also aem has one on their website. useing a camaro as well

It’s been awhile since doing this but I recall using WB EQ Ratio 1 (SAE)

Well we figured out the HPT scanner with the AEM/AFR. Drove it again with a little more throttle at about 45%. Verified PI controller will be here tomorrow and wire it up Sunday. Mike setup a couple thing in HPT changing the MAF HZ and added a new App to control PI. I'm still in the dark but if we get then controller up and going we'll go on the dyno Tuesday.

It ended up being something in Windows. I took it into a shop I've used before, it actually took him about 45 minutes to figure out what happened. There is a lot to the PI and for sure some extra work but should be pretty killer when we are done. Mike taught me a little tonight about when the PI actually comes into play, its about rescaling the MAF HZ on as it drops the DI lowers at 6000 hz and the PI comes in with 30 % more fuel. I think thats the way he explained it.

I'm also curious about the tuning involved. I would think it would be similar to meth, but never tuned that either... changing the MAF scale (again I would think) would mess with the engines perceived airflow intake (lbs/min)... to my very novice understanding it seems like it would be a nightmare for this system You would need to "fool" the ECU into thinking it's ingesting less air so it doesn't provide as much fuel. (via the DI system).

I don't really know, we just worked on the Maf last night. I'll know more after we start tuning it Tuesday on the dyno. I go the controller this morning so when we get back in town on Saturday I'll get everything plugged in

So yesterday I received the Motiv controller yesterday. Just waiting on the injector adapter that will be here Sunday and then we are ready to install. So here is some info from Mike on the Motiv.

Mount this under the dash, in the engine on behind driver side fender?

This is still looking like a good option.

I hope so, running out of time. We'll see if we make it to the dyno or just wing it and haul it to the track to let Mike finish the wiring. We'll get it one way or the other, just last minute little issues we are tying up that can hold up the whole show. Just got a late start to the show but we got this
