If I set the NPP in Stealth mode for startup do I have to reset it when I want to go into Sport mode or will the valves open above a certain rpm Thanks!

once you set It in engine sound management it will stay in stealth mode until you choose another mode. the only way the valves will open and close is if the auto option is chosen under engine sound management

No, the predefined modes cannot be edited. All you can do is, as you probably know, set up a single custom "mode" with explicit settings, but even that can't be saved as a profile. ("Z" mode, oh well.)

Well if you have HP tuners you can change it in the body computer, but you need to unlock the credits to do it.

One trick I was shown is that you can actually put the car in accessory mode (hold the start button down 5 seconds so it turns the ignition on but not start the car) and you can then set the valves to Stealth before you start it. Then put your foot on the brake / push the clutch in to start there car. Its the only way to start the car with the valves closed.

While I know this to be true, when I put the car in Snow and Ice mode it doesn't start in Snow and Ice mode (when I park my car overnight then start it up the next morning). It defaults to Tour, which has the same initial start up as Sport (before quieting down). I want to make the exhaust louder, but I have to mitigate the noise in the garage.

Currently, I do that or if I remember I set the car in the settings to Stealth mode at all times. I guess I need to tune, but what I wanted to do was Map Stealth mode to Touring so that I can just use the switch.

Well then you need a tune to do what you want. We have full control over the NPP settings per mode with HPtuners.

Yea and you could do it without voiding your warranty because you don't need to flash the ECM to change the NPP settings. Just license the FSCM controller, change settings, and flash.
