I just hate how every dark tail lamp thread turns into this. The thread was about the GM part, not what you did to your car.

+1. To each their own, but I'm going to wager that people waiting months for the official GM dark lamps are not about to suddenly cave and go on Amazon to buy a cheap can of Nite-shades. I'm happy for those who like using that, but to me, it's one of those things that's easy to do yourself, creates some sense of accomplishment and money savings, but the end result isn't always guaranteed to be that great. I'm not saying you can't do a good job if you're careful, but every car I've seen on the road using this is excessively blacked-out and the consistency is really bad in terms of how the light shines through. Not my cup of tea.

No idea why my pic is going upside down. Put it in the correct way and have tried a few times to correct it.

Here i fixed your picture for you.

It looks ok I guess - but you can tell it's painted, it's like a flat looking paint. Take a pic at night, normal on, brake, reverse.

I want to believe this is legit but we've been told before that the wait is over and an ordered was placed. Can't wait to be proven wrong
