About 700-720whp.
Just to clarify, 850whp is what the high side falls off on 93 pump gas, Not E85. Full E85 it's falling off in the 700whp range even with a bigger cam lobe. This is why we blend, because we can get 90% of the gains on E50-E60 vs E85 and the fuel system will go much further. On most builds E50-E60 is plenty of octane(103-106).

If you go E50 and up the boost with upgraded low side how much more does it pump it up then? |

Damn, you convinced me. I think I'll buy a kit today and put some E in it.

So are there any other downsides to using E besides it's fuel consumption and extra $$ to install?

You'll need port injection to run a meaningful amount of E in your setup, unless you back down on upper pulley size. My C7 has a similar setup with port injection and fuel is tapped out at E50 (mainly due to flow limit of DSX external pump)

Not necessary per se, but it'd give you higher octane than that 101 even with a blend for 1/3-1/4 the price, and that's just one of the advantages stated here and in many of KingLT1's posts in other threads.

It's simpler for me to use MS109 at the track, although 5 gal. is $125

I could be wrong, I wasn't there. But if I had to bet, I would still bet a loss of fuel pressure was the cause. I only offer the advice so that you don't make the same mistake twice. We agree as well! |
