I just hit 89,000 miles without any LT1 issues. My mileage is mostly highway and I have been averaging 25.8 mpg for the last 30,000 miles. Does not burn oil, I run an Elite Engineering Catch Can. I have been changing the oil at 5,000 mile intervals with Mobil1. I have an automatic. The engine is awesome.

The real tests will be high Mileage. Who has over 100k miles? They have been used in the corvette since 2014 or 15. How many of these corvettes have high miles on them?

@ 18,500 miles rod bearing 6 imploded and wreaked havoc on my entire engine. Brand new crate engine installed under warranty. No issues since (4k miles) knock on wood.

Not many is seems. 2014's had the LT1 and a 6 speed auto and then went to the 8 speed auto in 2015. I see 100's of C7's with under 20k miles.

I'm no expert, but those before photos don't look great- particularly the carbon buildup on the rods and valves.

That last one though- pristine!

How many miles on her?

For 200k miles, I think that engine looks how I would expect a 200k mile engine to look. The after looks way better than I would expect a 200k mile engine all cleaned up to look.

2016 SS: Needed fuel injector replacement, left bank at 56,000 miles earlier this year. Not covered under warranty. I was upset to say the least. Has run flawless since though.

2022 Camaro lt1

I have a 2022 Camaro Lt1 I ordered it and have had it for a little over 4 months 5,200 miles I did a pull today and I cant remember if my car made a sound or not but it immediately put me in a limp mode I think and said esc and there was a blinking check engine light. Then my phone sent an alert that I need to service emissions. It has a very weird idle my transition seems clunky(maybe because of the limp mode?) and as i was pulling away to take my car to the dealer a bunch of white smoke started to come out of the exhaust. Probably ****ed. Maybe a head gasket idk. Most definitely a new engine though. Any thoughts on why.
