Anybody do grill protection?

Now that I'm closing in on 6500miles I am seeing nicks in the grill from the crappy roads around here. Anyone protect the grill?

To my knowledge, none of the film manufacturers make a pattern for the grill.

I discussed putting film on the grill with my installer and they convinced me that the labor cost would be more than the cost of a new grill. Knock on wood, my grill has remained chip free.

That’s what I was gonna say. Just buy a new grill every few years if it gets that dinged up.

The other thing to consider is how close you follow the cars in front of you.

Not much chip protection but I applied ceramic coating to my grill. At least the dirt and water will be repelled.

I haven't been able to find the grill online. When I search it keeps bringing up the SS grill.

other than a ceramic coat there isn’t much out there except that track day peel off spray somebody had posted a while back, would have to dig up the post.

when I had my clear bra installed they tried to do the grill custom with xpel but just couldn’t get it to look right

Wrap and labor for something like a grill isn't worth the expense vs buying a new one down the road, especially if the wrap gets damaged. Most installers won't replace wrap unless it was truly a defective piece or install.

the price i was told it would be was 100, so it would be cheaper if it could be done, depending on the installer
